Selcuk GöldereChoreographer

Selcuk Göldere has worked as a dancer and choreographer at the Ankara State Opera and Ballet-Modern Dance Department. He has also teached some of the main theatre and dance courses at several major schools in Turkey; mainly in Ankara, including the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory, where he is still working over new projects and teaching modern/contemporary dance techniques as associate professor and head of department. In 2015 he directed the closing evening of the International Bartók Music Festival and Symposium at the Ankara State Opera, where our Company presented Hungarian Rhapsody by Zoltán Fodor and another piece called Roots choreographed by Selcuk himself.

Lóránd ZachárChoreographer

Lóránd Zachár has staged several highly successful choreography pieces in Holland and in Hungary as well. As a successful dance artist he first worked in The Hague with the Djazz-Ex modern dance group, and then in Rotterdam at Danceworks. He later became a guest teacher and choreographer at the Rotterdam Dance Academy while teaching a number of courses in Hungary as well. In 2013 he choreographed After the Choice for Inversedance.

Ádám FejesChoreographer

As a dance artist Ádám Fejes used to be an artist first of the Rotterdam Dansgroep and then the Christina de Chătel dance group, and following his return home he implemented his novel ideas with the Off Dance Theatre dance company. At present he is artistic director of Mu Terminál and in 2013 he choreographed Sempre Libera for Inversedance.

Attila GergelyChoreographer/ Composer

Both as a dancer and as a creative artist, Attila Gergely has worked with numerous Hungarian alternative companies, such as the Artus-Goda Gábor Company, the Compagnie Yvette Bozsik, the Pál Frenák Company. Nowadays his independent evenings have been hosted by the Trafó-Kortárs House of Arts, the Merlin Theatre and the Mu Theatre. He has worked with Inversedance several times; composed the music for Esther, Enchanted Castle, After the Choice, Home sweet home and for his own piece Alleluja, which he choreographed for the Company in 2013.

Anh Ngoc NguyenChoreographer

Anh Ngoc Nguyen trained in classical ballet at the Vietnamese Dance College before graduating with an honours distinction in 1998. Winning a full scholarship at the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts, he then went on to work with the Vietnamese Opera Theatre, Hong Kong/New York Dance Company, Les Ballets Persans, Wayne McGregor | Random Dance and Phoenix Dance Theatre. His work is characterised by an investigation of the complexity of human anatomy, as well as the internal rhythm that can help the body express its internal sound as if it were a musical instrument. He choreographed F2 for Inversedance in 2011.

Arpi

Árpád IványiDesigner

Árpad Iványi received a masters degree in production design from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in 2002. Since then he has become one of the most versatile and in demand designers in Hungary. His work as a production, set, costume designer and graphic artist includes numerous projects for international film, televison, theatre, fashion and interior design industries. He has been collaborating with Inversedance since 2008; designed the sets and costumes for Subconscious, Vackor – Adventures of a little bear, Esther, Vuk, the little fox and Enchanted Castle.
