AFTER THE CHOICE

Aida was born a princess, lived as a slave, and died with her lover, as a queen. Lóránd Zachár’s piece, inspired by the moving story and music of the world famous opera, Aida, depicts the three faces of the heroine separately. The choreography aims to represent the end of the Verdi work, Aida’s struggles in the cold crypt, her fears, her farewell to mortal existence and to her love, her increasingly more rapid thoughts.
