Kitty Balkányi
Choreographer/Dancer
Kitty Balkányi studied at the Hungarian Dance Academy, then started her professional career at the Szeged Contemoprary Dance Company. Later on she has worked with such significant hungarian companies as the Yvett Bozsik Company and the Budapest Dance Theatre. Received the “Best female dancer of the season” award in 2009. Joined Inversedance at its foundation in 2010, where beside working as a dancer she has also been fulfilling the positions of assistant and occasionally associate choreographer. Participated in several courses and workshops organized by the Company and in addition to her leading roles she has also danced the female lead roles of Esther and Traviata.
